Tek Rangers Ventrilo Protocol:

Ventrilo can be a very effective and efficient form of communication if used properly. Here is the official protocol for using Ventrilo.

1. [tR] Members have the right of away on the channel.

2. Use a hot key to talk. This is where you set a button on your keyboard to push to talk. You can do this through the setup menu in Ventrilo. This keeps background sounds out of everyone’s headset.

3. Use the proper channels for the game you're in unless of course you are bored and you want someone to talk too, then switch channels.

4. Always be respectful and clean. There is to be no foul language, racial slurs, or demeaning verbiage.

5. Keep comments and emotions to a minimum. While playing we don’t need to hear somebody scream out “They killed me” or “What was that” or anything that is not beneficial to the team.

6. Keep responses/talk short. too much unnecessary chatter, background noises, echoes, and horrible language kills it for everyone.

7.If you and others would like to talk about other things in depth besides the game at hand please move to another channel.

8.Most of all be respectful of others
