Great news! Heads up that the Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare Variety Map Pack sponsored by NVIDIA will be available worldwide for our PC players on June 5th!

NVIDIA is making it possible for PC players to download the map pack for Free on the PC thanks to their sponsorship. In addition, expect to see quite a few promotions popping up leading up to the launch of the map packs on the 5th and beyond. I know NVIDIA has a lot of great things planned for PC users in addition to maps becoming available.

There’s going to be some PC specific previews going up online this weekend I believe that will cover how well the maps play on the PC version as well as some contests and promotions happening all next week. I’ll be posting up details on them as they get started all this week!

The Variety Map Pack includes four new maps for Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare multiplayer including Broadcast, Chinatown, Killhouse, and Creek.

In addition to the map pack hitting, PC Players will be receiving the 1.6 Patch for the PC version of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare that will add support for the new maps, fix a server crash exploit recently reported by the community, and a few additional features / bug fixes.

The Ventrilo server was upgraded again this evening to v3.0.2. A new client will also need to be installed. It is version 3.0.1. That is available from the Ventrilo website or in our download section. Please update your client.

This is the release of the v1.2 Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare™ patch by Infinity Ward. This patch optimizes the Lean view offset issue, addressing the glitch reported by several community members and documented and sent in directly by community member GaretJax which is commonly referred to as the �Left / Vertical Lean� Glitch, in addition to preparing files for compatibility with the future release of the Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare™ Mod Tools. Infinity Ward just release the CoD4 Patch 1.1 which is an emergency patch to fix the problems with the rank being lost when switching from some ranked-to-unranked servers.

Call of Duty 4 v1.1 Patch Client

We will be upgrading our Ventrilo server tomorrow evening sometime between 7-9 pm EST to version 3.0.0. The update will also require a new Ventrilo client. The link is Here or you can download it from the site tomorrow night. So make sure to update your client software.

You will not be able to connect if you don't have the updated client. The connection information will remain the same.
